Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a contract to Rix Industries, Inc., to perform troubleshooting technical support for High Pressure Air Compressor (HPAC) units onboard US nuclear submarine. Rix Industries is the only vendor that can perform this type of work onboard naval 774 class submarines while meeting the military/Navy's standards and expectations. Rix Industries owns the proprietary drawings required to service the equipment. Rix Industries does not release the drawings or other proprietary knowledge to third-party companies, and there are no authorized dealers or distributors for the unique supplies and services required.
