The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Investigations and Operations Support Dallas (IOSD), TX 75247, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) to the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) for laboratory accreditation servicers for the Homeland Security Investigations Forensic Laboratory. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 procedures. ASCLD/LAB is the only known source capable of meeting the Government's requirements for a four year cycle of accreditation services which meet all Government policies, Inter American Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC), and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) standards. The Government intends to acquire this service using FAR Part 13.106(b)(1). This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation.
