AFMETCAL at Heath OH has a requirement at some future date for the purchase of a Humidity Generator for its Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMELs). This will be solicited as Full and Open Competition (FOC). The Humidity Generator must be capable of producing a stable atmosphere of known humidity and temperature using a saturated vapor stream principle. It shall have a chamber that can accommodate humidity sensors, hygrothermographs, chilled mirror hygrometers, dew point meters, and other environmental measuring devices.

The Government envisions a firm fixed price contract with one base year (FY19) and three one year options (FY20, FY21 and FY22). It is anticipated that 21 units will be purchased in FY19 with a FY20 option for up to 18 units, FY21 option for up to 18 units, and FY22 option for up to 21 units. The best estimate is that a total of 78 units will be ordered, however, there is no guarantee that an option will be exercised.

The pre-solicitation number is FA2263-19-R-A003 and shall be referenced on all correspondence submitted. This notice shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice.
