Priest Lake and Sandpoint Ranger Districts of the North Zone, Idaho Panhandle NF will be soliciting for performance based Road Maintenance Brushing services that require contractor's to furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform machine roadside brushcutting and clearing with the objective of successful, quality performance resulting in a clear line of sight, clear of debris as outlined in specifications. The IPNF anticipates awarding 2 Firm Fixed price contracts. Base Item 1 is for Priest Lake with approx. 35.3 miles and Base Item 2 is for Sandpoint Ranger District with approx. 22 miles. The list of roads with maps will be published for site visits with the solicitation. The period of performance is expected to begin upon award and complete in 45 calendar days or no later than October 30 2016, with some roads designated to be completed by September 6, 2016. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued on or around July 7, 2016.
