A newer version of the iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio System became available for an additional $3,000.00.  Other than the model number of the unit and the consumables and the pricing of the unit all other items remain the same.  Below are the updated model numbers:

Pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.302-1, the Naval Hospital Bremerton Contracting Office, Bremerton, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Abbott Medical Optics (AMO) Sales and Service, Inc. in the total amount of $93,315.00 to purchase a iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio System (product number 0110-3450) to include a table (product # 0110-3455), printer, 1 year warranty, installation, and training.  This procurement also includes (7) 21TX iDesign Pak (product number 0040-1000-94). And the following sub-part numbers and quantities:

The iDesign Advanced WaveScan Studio System is the only system that is compatible with the existing IFS Advanced Femtosecond Refractive Laser located in Naval Hospital Bremerton's Opthalmology clinic.  The system is manufactured and distributed by AMO (Johnson and Johnson Vision). 

This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP.
