The 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to AMO Sales and Service, Inc. in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one responsible source is capable of responding due to the fact that AMO Sales and Service, Inc. is the only source that can provide the iDesign Advanced Wavescan Studio System. The system is manufactured and distributed by AMO. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339115 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
