THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 2nd Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for the procurement of the following service / commodity: This acquisition is to obtain, by the use of other than full and open competition, IDS5 DATIS System, 120 days ADC. This is a Sole Source award to Systems Atlanta, Inc, 1100 Cobb International Place NW, Kennesaw, GA. 2 CONS/LGCC has determined that Systems Atlanta, Inc is the only source capable of providing this requirement. The government believes that IDS5 DATIS System is a patented and proprietary commercial product that can only be acquired through Systems Atlanta,
Inc., and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541512 with a business size standard of $25.5M. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply/service as described above and rationale as to why they should be considered. Responses received will be evaluated and considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
