The Department of General Services (State or DGS) provides comprehensive real estate services to all State agencies, including the construction of new facilities and renovation and repair of existing facilities throughout the State of California. DGS has the responsibility of assuring that material testing and inspection services (MT&IS) are provided on such projects. It is the intent of the State to solicit competitive bids from Contractors for the work described herein to provide the State of California with MT&IS for construction projects. The State intends to award four (4) contracts from this solicitation, one per each region as defined herein. Bidders may submit bids for one or more regions. Bidders may be awarded one (1) or up to four (4) contracts. Please note the 3% DVBE Participation is required for this agreement.
