NOTICE TO BIDDERS MAHINAHINA WATER TREATMENT FACILITY BACKWASH WATER TANK REPLACEMENT LAHAINA, MAUI, HAWAII DWS JOB NO. 20-02A Pursuant to Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, sealed bids shall be RECEIVED ELECTRONICALLY and recorded immediately via the Public Purchase System until 2:00 PM (Hawaii Standard Time), on Thursday, November 19, 2020 . Bids shall be submitted via the Public Purchase System, otherwise the bids shall not be opened or considered. Bids received after the date and time stated above will also not be considered. The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as necessary to demolish the existing 100,000-gallon glass-lined steel water tank and to construct a new 100,000-gallon stainless steel water tank on the existing tank foundation, in place complete. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 8:30 AM on Thursday, October 29, 2020 via BlueJeans teleconferencing. Following the meeting, at 11:00 AM a site visit will be conducted and interested parties shall meet at the Mahinahina Water Treatment Facility, Lahaina, Maui. Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering “A” Contractor’s License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the “County of Maui”, and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended. Bidders are required to comply with the newest procurement code Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 103D, any rules and regulations and policy directives issued with respect to Chapter 103D, and any amendments thereof.
