SOLE SOURCE SOLICITATION:

The Maintenance Service Section (PZIMB) of the Specialized Maintenance Contracting Branch at Hill AFB, Utah, is soliciting repair and maintenance services of the Intermittent Fault Detection and Isolation Systems (IFDIS) from Total Quality Systems, Inc., on a sole source basis. This action is conducted under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.

This effort has been previously synopsized in accordance with FAR 5.204 under this posting.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:

The Maintenance Service Section (PZIMB) of the Specialized Maintenance Contracting Branch at Hill AFB, Utah, intends to negotiate with Total Quality Systems, Inc., on a sole source basis, for repair and maintenance services of the Intermittent Fault Detection and Isolation Systems (IFDIS). The services provide will support the 523rd Electronics Maintenance Squadron (EMXS). Negotiations will the sole source will be conducted under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.

Sources Sought FA8224-16-R-IFDIS was posted to FBO.gov on 06 SEP 2016. Total Quality Systems, Inc., holds proprietary data rights for the IFDIS and was the only party to express interest.

Description of Services: The contractor will provide scheduled maintenance, on-call maintenance, and technical telephone/email support for three (3) Intermittent Fault Detection and Isolation Systems (IFDIS) located at Hill AFB. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, tools, parts, labor and materials necessary to maintain the IFDIS. The contractor shall maintain all IFDIS according to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications. The period of performance will consist of a basic year plus two (2) option years.
