This proposed procurement is to acquire fire lookout services for the staffing of a fire lookout on the North Umpqua Ranger District in accordance with the specifications attached to the solicitation. Except for those designated as Government furnished property, the Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for one year with the option to extend the services for up to four (4) option years. Estimated start work date is July 1, 2011. Estimated date quotes will be due: May 24, 2011 (The full solicitation will list the official due date and time.)

This proposed procurement listed herein is a Total Small Business Set-Aside per FAR 19.502-2(a).
