The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) intends to award a sole source contract to Digital Globe Inc. 1601 Dry Creek Dr Ste 260, Longmont, CO 80503-6503 under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items Global Base Map 60cm layer access and offline delivery of conterminous US. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541360 and the standard size is $4.5 million. In accordance with the FAR 6.305-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the Government will negotiate directly with Digital Globe Inc. for this requirement. Digital Globe Inc has exclusive distribution rights on the 30/60cm aerial imagery dataset.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office by 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on 26 September 2012. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement. Responses are due on 26 September 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
