DESCRIPTION: The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging, 5051 Peachtree Corners Circle, Suite 100, Norcross, GA purchase of software maintenance and recertification to include upgrades, updates, and technical support for 27 existing ERDAS Imagine Licenses for the period of 01 July 2008 through 30 June 2009. Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging is the only provider of ERDAS Imagine software which is used in the development of advanced multi-sensor fusion software developed as an add-on module to the ERDAS Imagine software. Continued development and application of these advanced Government-owned fusion software tools requires the renewal of the annual software maintenance subscription.
