IMAT - Idaho Panhandle National Forest- This announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service, Coeur d'Alene Nursery, Kootenai County, Idaho contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-02RC-S-10-0031 on about July 30, 2010 for: CONTAINER SEEDLING GRADING, PACKING AND CLEANING. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this website from time to time to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be solely through this website. The project will consist of container seedling extraction, grading, packing into boxes; sorting and cleaning of empty containers, the cleaning of emptied greenhouse and shelterhouse areas; rouging(thinning of undesirable tree seedlings) ; and removing weeds from container cells, greenhouses, shelterhouse floors and headhouses. Additional work may be ordered including banding packed boxes; and root pruning plugs. Estimated start work is mid November 2010. The contract period of performance will run from Notice to Proceed through December 31, 2013.

Project location: Coeur d'Alene Nursery, 3600 Nursery Road Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

The Forest Service intends to issue a solicitation for this project utilizing FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. This project is set aside totally for Small Business.
