NOTICE OF INTENT

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to Immucor Inc (cage code 64527), 3130 Gateway Dr., Norcross, GA 30071-1106, to acquire blood reagents and products (refer to the attached justification for full details). The blood reagents and products required are offered only by Immucor Inc., who is the sole distributor of these particular products required for use on an exisiting system used by the multiple treatment facilities at JBSA- Lackland and the Air Force Agency.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Immucor Inc, under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). Interested vendors may indentify their interest and capability of responding to this requirement of the required Immucor products and blood reagents, or interested parties may submit quotes/offers. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. However, all quotes/offers for the required Immucor blood reagents and products received by the closing date and time of this Notice of Intent may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any interested party may inquire with the below point of contact:
