The US Army Contracting Command- Redstone has a sole source requirement to procure; Noun: Inert Warhead; Part Number: 13540611, Quantity: 1,041 each; F.O.B Origin with delivery to Lockheed Martin Corporation, 15604 W AR 274 HWY CAMDEN, AR. Required delivery is to commence 29 April 2016 at a rate of 380 each per month and end 30 June 2016. This proposed acquisition is for the support of Low Cost Reduced Range Practice Rocket production on an interim basis pending the full implementation of a recently-awarded competitive contract for inert warhead production.
Pursuant to 10 U.S.C.2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), this proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source -AMC, Inc. 2011 US Hwy 79 N, Camden, AR 71701-9454 (CAGE 0DBE3). Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
This acquisition is restricted to the item description set forth in this synopsis which specifies a Government or manufacturer's part number based on a Technical Data Package that is included with the solicitation.
