This effort will create two Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plans (CMCPs) for the Inland Empire, one focused on east-west flows of people and goods and the other on north-south flows. The CMCPs will be prepared jointly with the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) and the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA), working in partnership with Caltrans District 8. The geographic areas to be covered may be refined as part of the study, but they generally would cover The Inland Empire East-West Multi-Modal Corridor and The Inland Empire North-South Multi-Modal Corridor.
