The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs’ Executive Office, Grants, Acquisitions, Procurement, and Policy Division (INL/EX/GAPP), in support of INL/Honduras, is seeking information on potential sources for Communications Equipment.


THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFP/RFQ in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought; all costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized via beta.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

INL/Honduras is contemplating the purchase of communications equipment, communication software and installation, and connection accessories for the members of the Honduran National Police (HNP), Comando de Operaciones Especiales (COE) Unit. This project seeks to increase the unit’s capacity to conduct counternarcotic and transnational crime missions as well as capture extraditable individuals to combat criminal organizations and disrupt narcotrafficking activities throughout Honduras.
