The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to award Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation – Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA, a sole-source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type Delivery Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Contract N00019-20-G-0005.  NGAS will provide the necessary support regarding the International Maritime Satellite (INMARSAT) Antenna Diminishing Manufacturing Supply (DMS) issue to the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System.  Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the Triton UAS.  Accordingly, it is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge and experience to provide Triton specific hardware required for these efforts within the program’s cost and schedule constraints.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, “Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements” for the proposed actions.
