The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific, in support of Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Summit Industries, LLC for a Innovet Versa DR Digital Radiographic System for veterinary use for the Veterinary Treatment Facility at AAFB, Guam. This is a brand name only requirement due to it's inclusion on the Veterinary Standarization Board list. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which authorizes the government to award contracts when the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements.
