The Contractor shall provide all labor and equipment necessary for work in Building 1204, Air Traffic Control Tower, to remove and dispose of 2700 SF of existing carpet and 630 LF cove base, adhesive, and all transition strips in all areas identified on the drawing. All material shall be disposed of at a proper off-base location. The contractor shall prepare floor in accordance with standard commercial practices. The contractor shall install new carpet tiles over asbestos tile, no scraping of the existing adhesive will be allowed. The contractor shall level areas where existing floor tiles are missing. The contractor shall install 2700 SF of carpet tiles (see carpet location on attached drawing). The contractor shall provide and install 630 LF of new Johnsonite (Brand Name or Equal) rubber 4" cove base RWDC-84, color "Blue Jeans" and 3 new transition strips. In accordance with the attached Statement of Work included for Fairchild AFB. This acquisition will be accomplished using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13. The Government will evaluate offers utilizing lowest price technically acceptable approach with technical acceptability based on a go/no-go basis. This procurement will be solicited as restricted to Service Disabled and Veteran Owned Small Businesses.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238330 and the related small business size standard is $15,000,000.00. A Fixed Price, Purchase Order will result from this solicitation. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov. Procurement documents will NOT be directly provided in either a paper hard copy format or CDs. Notification of any changes to this solicitation will be made ONLY on the FBO website. It is, therefore, the contractor's responsibility to check the site daily for any posted changes in the solicitation documents, which will be available on or about 3 September 2014.
