The National Park Service intends to issue solicitation number Q5324101009 for the installation of wayside exhibits. The types of wayside exhibits will be: base mounted, wall mounted and custom kiosks. The work will consist of assembling and installing exhibit bases throughout Gulf Islands National Seashore, which is located in Florida and Mississippi. The North American Industry Classification System for this project is 238130. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. This procurement is a total small business set a-side. The solicitation will be released to the general public on or about August 31, 2010. All quotes bids are due back by 9/16/2010, at 4:30 pm CST (Central Standard Time). All pertinent information regarding this Request for Quotation will be available at the website http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed, emailed, or faxed. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business are requested to register at the National Business Center website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Plan holder will be required to visit this site periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents. Contract duration will be 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The type of contract award will be a firm fixed price contract.
