This is a NOTICE OF INTENT to solicit on a sole source basis to acquire the installation of a PTZ Camera. Request for quote(s) will be solicited only from SimplexGrinnell due to their proprietary software rights of the security system through which the PTZ Camera must operate. The anticipated date of award is September 15, 2011 for a period of performance from September 15 thru October 31, 2011. This NOTICE is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) and no solicitation will be publicized. However, if you have the capability to fulfill this requirement, you may submit such capabilities in writing to the IRS Primary Point of Contact. Written response to this Notice must be provided to this office no later than September 15, 2011 by 12:00 PM EST. It is solely within the discretion of the Government to evaluate your capabilities and to make a determination to compete this contract action. A final award decision will be made within the best interest of the Government to fulfill this requirement. Any questions to this action should be directed to IRS Primary Point of Contact.
