The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to award a sole source contract to Eagle Engineering Corporation, 8869 Citation Road, Baltimore, MD 21221, for an Lifting System to support the Grand Tower Cyclic Test System at the CPSC Laboratory. The Lifting System is an upgrade to the Grand Tower system, and the government believes Eagle Engineering is the sole authorized service provider with experience custom-designing and custom- building the Grand Tower Cyclic Test System for the CPSC. Eagle already has experience integrating safety signals with CPSC's specific Baldor/ABB linear motor servo drive and CPSC's MTS controller. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
