The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to award a sole source contract to Air Flow Services, Inc., 1143 Taft Street, Rockville, MD 20850, for a maintenance and service contract for two (2) condition chambers at the CPSC Laboratory. Air Flow Services, Inc. is the manufacturer of the equipment and is the only vendor that can provide this service in the required time frame for the conditioning chambers. Air Flow Services, Inc. installed the two (2) conditioning chambers in the laboratory and performed the services and maintenance for the last six (6) years. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can supply the service may give written notice to the Contract Specialist via email at [email protected], by 1 PM EST on March 23, 2017.
