The AFNWC/PZIA Kirtland AFB, NM has the current position to issue a sole source purchase order for the 705 Combat Training Squadron, to MetaVR, Inc; 80 Somerset Road, Brookline, MA 02445; for the purchase of MetaVR Software VRSG and maintenance, who owns proprietary data rights and design details to this product.

Synopsis: The 705 CTS currently has an array of specialized hardware that uses the MetaVR VRSG Software as a platform that includes and requires the following:

The solution will allow the for renewal of existing software and avoid significant rework of several systems which would incur at least 200 man hours to potentially rework.

Anticipated date of award is 01 December 2012. The FSC Code is 7030, the NAICS Code is 511210 and the size standard is $25.0M. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within three (3) days of this announcement.
