The United States Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to enter into negotiations with a single vendor, Decision Sciences of San Diego, CA, for a contract for up to sixteen Muon Detection Systems. These systems passively inspect cargo and conveyances using muon particles.
CBP is contracting with Decision Sciences on a sole source basis, because no other vendors have been identified that can meet the requirement. Any vendor that believes it can meet the requirement should submit its information (such as a capability statement) to [email protected]
