The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to make a sole source award to Remel Inc. for disposable supplies for the Sensititre Antimicrobial susceptilbility test (AST) system.  The supplies provided by Remel Inc. are required for continued use in the FDA National Antimicrobial Resistence Monitoring System (NARMS) laboratories located in Laurel MD, Atlanta GA and Denver CO.  The supplies provided by Remel Inc. are the only compatible supplies for the Sensititre AST System which is the equipment that exists in all of the NARMS laboratories.
