The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with The Entwistle Company for the procurement of the following items:

CLIN 0001: The contractor shall perform on-site Program Updating and Repair or Replacement of one (1) each 7” Touch Screen on one (1) each Rite-Size Box Machine model #RS-84; the software update and repair/replace will be in accordance with industry standards and equipment manufacturers’ recommendations as stated in the owner’s manual.

CLIN 0002: The contractor shall provide Rite-Size Box Machine programming software training for six (6) AMARG employees.

This requirement is conducted under FAR 13.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. The Entwistle Company is the original equipment manufacturer for Rite-Size Box Machine products in the United States.  This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may express interest and provide a capability statement, to include an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s ability to provide these repair services as described above. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. All information received from this notice shall be used for planning and market research purposes only. The determination to refrain from competing proposed contracts based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted or use of such information. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the evaluation of the information received.

All interested firms must respond to this notice no later than Monday, 28 June 2021, 7:00 AM PST. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
