This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(2) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 6.302-1.
The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, intends to award sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to Commemorative Air Force - TORA to provide their unique arieal demonstration act which consists of consist of eight (8) replica Japanese aircraft composed of Zero fighters, Kate torpedo bombers, and Val dive bombers as well as ground based pyrotechnics and historical narration to the 2015 Wings Over Wayne Air show/Open House set for 16-17 May 2015.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability as a response to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
