The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD) intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract with Interconnect Systems, Inc. (ISI) CAGE: 3F8U4, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implanted by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Establishing an alternative source would result in not only duplication of costs to the Government, which is not expected to be recovered through competition, but would also require unacceptable delays in meeting current requirements.

This procurement is for Quantity of 108 each PSCM Interposers, 108 each MCC Interposers, 202 each BM Interposers, 946 each THWK/VLS Interposers, 154 each PDV/AI Interposers, 987 each Cell Interface Interposers, 89 each PSCM Interposers, 986 each SM-2/ESSM Interposers, 62 each PSCM Interposers, 606 each HCM Interposers, and 177 each MCM Interposers. This acquisition is being procured under NAICS Code 334418. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.

Inspection and Acceptance will be at destination (NSWC PHD). Contract award is expected on a FOB Destination basis. This will be a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12.

The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
