NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

The Contracts Department, Code 022, NSWC PHD, intends to solicit and negotiate with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Interconnect Systems, Inc. (ISI) Cage Code (3F8UA), for Interposers/Computer Chips.

The statutory authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-2(i), the part listed are available from only one source and no substitutes will be applied.

See attached J&A for additional details. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334418 with a size standard of 500 Employees. The Product Service Code is 5963. Drawings and specifications are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government.

No solicitation package will be publicized. A determination by the Government is NOT to compete this procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made upon determination of the price fair and reasonable and is subject to FAR Part 15. Anticipated award date is on or about 30 March 2018.
