1.  THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute as a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking quotations and will not accept unsolicited offers. Interested vendors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense.

2.  The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) is conducting market research to identify potential Small Business contractors that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and authorization to work on supplying an Intoxilyzer IAW specifications list. The Government needs to determine small businesses capable of providing these parts in support of this requirement requested from Dyess AFB. The NAICS code for this effort is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. The specifications included in attachment one includes further details on requested accessories.

3.  The information that is gathered from this RFI will be used to determine if a small business set-aside is an option and to form a formal RFQ at in the near future. Responders should answer all the following questions in as much detail as possible:

1. Can your company provide the Intoxilyzer 9000 along with accessories listed on the specifications list?

        2.  Do you have any suggestions or questions regarding the attached to listed specifications?
