The USAG Humphreys Department of Emergency Services (DES) and Provost Marshal's Office requires two (2) alcohol breath testing devices approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA)"Conforming Products List" of breath alcohol devices approved for evidentiary use." This requirement also requires training, calibration, and repair services by factory certified trainers to be conducted within the Republic of Korea (ROK) as this critical equipment requires a 99% Fully Mission Capable (FMC) rate.
