The Regional Health Contracting Office – Atlantic (RHCO-A), Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC 28310 has a requirement for Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM). This technique has changed the standards of care for patients by reducing the risk of permanent neurological damage. These processes will be used to help physicians assess potential damage or injury to the spinal cord due to ischemia, de-rotation and to verify the spinal cord pathways are intact. IONM is changing the perception of back surgery through innovative solutions that are minimally disruptive to surrounding tissue. These up-to-date processes monitoring patients, has resulted in reduced surgical times; minimal blood loss; shorter stays, and quicker return to normal activities. Interested contractors must have local contractor/technician and all associated sub-contractors that can be available and in reach within 20-30 min from the facility in case of emergency surgeries.
Procedures are scheduled for 15 August 2021 through 14 August 2023.
