The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Grain Inspection, Packers & Stockyards Administration (GIPSA), Field Grain Inspection Service (FGIS), New Orleans Field Office, Destrehan LA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Foss North America for Infratec 1241 Grain Analyzer equipment.

4. This requirement is to purchase 2 each Infratec 1241 Grain Analyzers:

P/N 12410225 Infratec 1241 Basic 5, five application models with maximum four constituents each, Grain Analyzer including variable cell (6-33mm) and instrument software installed, Monochromator Lamp, Set of Fuses, Power Cable, User Manual, Quick Guide, Test Report.

P/N 10014260 Small Grain F, USDA/FGIS Wheat & Barley ANN Calibration.

P/N 60036646 Corn: Oil (0%MB) FGIS PLS, Protein (0%MB), FGIS PLS, Starch (o%MB) FGIS PLIS, Moisture NTEP ANN.

P/N 60036645 Soybeans Oil, (13%MB) FGIS PLS, Protein (13%MB) FGIS PLS, Moisture NTEP ANN.

5. The Infratec 1241 Basic 5 grain analyzer is made in Denmark, and Foss North America Inc. is the U.S. distributor for this equipment.

6. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR12. Number note 22 applies.
