Bonners Ferry Ranger District of the Idaho Panhandle National Forests (IPNF) will solicit for Kreist Creek Culvert. This project includes removal of an existing 6ft-6 in x 6ft-0in x 88ft-0 in culvert and replacing with a 15 ft-0 in x 6 ft-7 in x 96 ft-0 in Structural Plate Arch with precast concrete footings. Work consists of constructing a stream channel through the pipe and installing grade control structures within the culvert and potentially outside the culvert near the inlet and outlet. Additionally a segment of road shall be reconstructed and shaped to provide adequate approaches over the new structure together with commercial source surface aggregate placed on the reconstructed segment of road. Work includes placing commercial source riprap material at the inlet and outlet and for construction of the grade control structures. The project location Forest Service Road 2517 is approximately 38 miles Northeast of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Located at T.64N. R. 2E. in the NW corner of section 13, Boise Meridian. Latitude and Longitude of the site is 48°54'15.68"N, 116° 9'4.06"W. Travel from Bonners Ferry, Idaho on U.S. Highway 95 North for approximately 30 miles to the Forest Service Road 2517 Junction. Turn right onto Forest Service Road 2517 South for approximately 6.8 miles to Forest Service Road 2517A. Turn right onto road 2517A and continue for approximately 0.7 miles to Kreist Creek culvert crossing. Price range between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated start July 2015 and complete by October 15, 2015. Solicitation to be issued on or around July 2, 2015.
