DESCRIPTION: This acquisition is to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 5930-00-678-3883. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (3 year base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years.

(X) Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Origin is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements are Destination.

(X) Delivery Schedule: 140 DAYS

All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered.

(X) Solicitation will be other than full and open competition. The solicitation will be available for download on the internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.mil/RFP on or around its issue date of March 18, 2015.

(X) While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.

(X) Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
