The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The NAICS Code is 334516-- Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. The reference number is HQ0727-17-R-0009, and is issued as request for quotations. This announcement constitutes the synopsis and the solicitation is contained as an attachment to the posting as HQ0727-17-R-0009.
This requirement is to purchase Infrared Emission Microscope (IREM)-II and Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) Camera Array service and maintenance. IREM service includes maintenance, software, and technical support to be performed for one (1) base year with options for four (4) additional years, at the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) campus, 4234 54th Street, McClellan, CA.
Offerors are encouraged to quote pricing for all Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) for the requirements stated in the solicitation.
The Government may award one contract from this solicitation to a responsible offeror. Award will be made based on offerors providing the lowest price technically acceptable offer that conform to solicitation requirements, and are most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:

(ii) technical capability
Evaluation of quotes and subsequent awards may be made without discussion.
