The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FFC Petersburg, Hopewell VA, FFC Petersburg intends to make a single award to respoonsible business entity for the provision of Islamic Spiritual Leaderservices for the Federal Correctional Complex, Petersburg location in hopewell, Virginia.  Faith-based and Community-based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.  The anticipated date of award will be approximately March 1, 2009.  The contract period shall consist of a base period from the date of award through 12 months.  The sucessful contractor shall provide Islamic Spiritual Guide Services consistent with community standards.  The North American Industrial Classification(NAICS) code IS 813110, with a small business size standard of $6.5 million.  Service will be provided for individual who are in the custodyand care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment.  Yearly contract requirements include an estimated 1,144 one hour session.  The solicitation will be made available on or January 8,2009, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizzopps.gov.  Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.  All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitaion amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.  Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.  The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is January 14, 2008; however, this is a PROJECTED ESTIMATE and quoteres should refer to Page 1 of the solicitation (BLOCK#8) for actual date quotations are due.  All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
