This Notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 10 United States Code 2304(c)(l) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items.

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District (NAB) intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price Sole Source Contract to Mirion Technologies, Inc. for the calibration and repair of Mirion in situ object counting system (ISOCS) Detector 3954, which is currently inoperable. This acquisition will also include other miscellaneous repairs, as needed, to make the detector fully functional.
