This notice announces the intent by the Regional Health Contracting Office -
Pacific in support of Tripler Army Medical Center to procure i-Stat cartridges (CG8+, G3+, CG4+, G, PT/INR), i-Stat Calibration Verification kits, Tricontrols Levels 1 - 3, PT/INR control levels 1-2 for the Department of Pathology at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii.
Specifically the government intends to procure blood bank reagents
manufactured by Abbot Laboratories Inc., 200 Abbott Park Rd., Abbott Park, IL 60064-3503.

Abbott Laboratories is the only known source that manufactures and distributes supplies for the Abbott i-Stat System. Government owned I-Stat analyzers are currently in use in the Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Car

This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and
5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the
purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best
interest of the Government. If no written responses are received by 14 July
2016, the solicitation will be issued as only one source. All questions and
