1. Per SOW, it is stated that the Commercial Network consists of 150+ computers, is there an exact/approximate count? Or is the Qty: 238 listed on the solicitation website the count for the latter question?
a. Approximately 150 total commercial computers

2. What is the count of workstation allocation for each space? (i.e. How many workstations in the computer labs, testing lab, and classrooms?)
a. Computer labs = 70
b. Testing Lab = 20
c. Classrooms = 22
d. Others = 38

3. Is the SOW for a new or existing deployment of network infrastructure?
a. Existing

4. If existing, what are the hardware specifications for the computers & servers? (processor speeds, RAM, HD storage, etc.)
a. Pentium Xeon, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD

5. If new, what are the specs and are the hardware & software already purchased or is the client looking for a recommendation?
a. N/A

6. Once servers are installed, will the network deployed be autonomous or join an existing domain?
a. N/A

7. Will all end-point systems require internet connectivity? (e.g. only testing center, etc.)
a. All HAVE connectivity

8. What type of internet connectivity does the client have? (e.g. T-1, T-3, OC3, etc.)
a. T-1; provided by military systems

9. Is the client opposed to installing the current version of both PC and server operating systems? (i.e. Windows 7 and Server 2008R2).
a. N/A; Air Force determined hardware/software requirements

10. Are there any known compatibility issues with regards to operating systems and AF-specific software applications?
a. None

11. Per security and disaster recovery requirements, must all data reside on site servers or is client open to secured cloud computing (internet-based) solutions?
a. On-site servers

12. Is the client opposed to a no-obligation site tour for us to better gage sq. footage of site for each classroom/lab, wiring requirements, floorplan layout, other logistics, etc. to provide a more accurate quote? (note: Our organization is based in San Francisco and our staff are all residents of the Bay Area).

a. No Site Visit is necessary this requirement is for an IT Service; no installion is required.

13. Is there a general timeline desired for all deliverables? (installation, etc.)
a. N/A; no deliverables required

14. For initial installation, are work hours/schedules limited to those set by the client or can the contractor propose its own hours?
a. N/A

15. Is there any additional documentation available around the Statement of Work and Request for Proposal that you think will assist us?
a. No

16. Is this solicitation for a contractor or a personal?
a. 1 person contractor/staff

17. What is the format of the proposal and what are the evaluation factors?

a. The evaluation factors are stated in the solicitation as lowest price technically acceptable in accordance with the statement of work then price. You can type up your propsal and email it to myself and SSgt Squires in any format.
