Tile removal and tile installation services are needed at the Columbus City School district. See below for important considerations. Price to bid on is the price per square foot for installation of Armstrong Excelon tiles with S-515 adhesive including minor floor prep Alternative products must be approved and must meet "Floor Score" certified Price should not include furniture removal, cove base, reducers, demolition All demolition and installation debris to be removed from Columbus City Schools property Color to be determined on a "by job" basis Field measure with 5 working days of request Installation within 6 weeks of notification to proceed Most of the work will be requested to be during school breaks (winter and early summer) Total tile work expected to be $200,000 No amount of work is guaranteed Typical job details: Jobs are typically full rooms between 30 and 200 yards spread around different locations Jobs typically include demolition and installation, including new cove base (which is quoted separately from the cost of flooring itself) Furniture removal and reinstallation is typically done by others Work will be evaluated by CCS staff to ensure that standards are being met. Columbus City Schools has established an Outreach Program to increase participation of businesses designated as Local Economically Disadvantaged Enterprises (LEDE).
