NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 intends to award a sole source Service Contract per FAR 13.106-1 (b) 1(i) to Olympus America, Inc., 3500 Corporate Parkway, Center Valley, PA 18034-0610. Olympus America, Inc. will furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, repair services and maintenance for the Repair and Maintenance of Olympus EBUS Scopes. The place of performance is the Department of Veterans Affairs, St. Louis Healthcare System, John Cochran Division located at 915 N Grand Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63106. The NAICS Code for these items is 811219 (Repair and Maintenance of Electronic and Precision Equipment). The Solicitation Number is 36C25519Q0199. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract for base year plus four (4) options. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; Interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement no later than February 8, 2019 @1630 CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. If, after February 8, 2019 @ 1630 CST, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, The Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Olympus America, Inc.
