This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W912LL-05-T-0005 is issued as a Request for Quotations. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business under NAICS code 81111, small business size standard of $6 mil. The North Dakota National Guard is seeking quotes on the repair of three Dozers, Model Number D7F S/N 61G. The repair of the Dozers must take place within the city of Devils Lake, ND 58301 as the North Dakota Guard can not transport the equipment for repair. The repairs of the first two dozers contain the following: Remove and replace all track shoes with new. Replace pin bores and trunnions on dozer arms. Replace pin bores on back of dozer face. New pins and trunnion caps. New trunnion balls and hardware for machine. The third dozer requires the following repairs: Replace pin bores and trunnions on dozer a rms. Replace pin bores on back of dozer face. New pins and trunnion caps. New trunnion balls and hardware for machine. Quotes are due in by 12AM central time on January 05, 2005. Offers will be evaluated as to the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government. All technical evaluation factors other than cost and price, when combined, are significantly less important than price.
