The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 with Gambro Renal Products, 14143 Denver West Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80401 for a maintenance and service agreement on four Prismaflex and twenty-one Phoenix dialysis machines. This agreement covers preventive maintenance to include one performance assurance inspection every 12 months including calibration of each unit as described in Gambro's Preventive Maintenance section of the equipment service manual. Also covered under this agreement are emergency service visits and repair services including labor, travel, expenses and all replacement parts. All maintenance will be performed in accordance with established procedures, as outlined in the current revision of the associated service manual. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature, to the Contracting Officer no later than October 29, 2008 C.O.B. Responses should be sent to [email protected].
