The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 intends to negotiate a commercial sole source contract with Gambro Inc., 10810 W. Collins Ave., Lakewood, Colorado 80215 under the authority FAR 6.206. This procurement is to obtain service and maintenance for the Gambro Phoenix Dialysis Systems located at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri 64128. The base period of service will be from November 1, 2006 through October 31, 2007 and up to four (4) Option Years after the base period. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
