The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific in Alameda, CA proposes to contract for the Haulout and Repair of the MLB 52315, homeported in Coos Bay, Oregon, and the MLB 52312, homeported in Yaquina Bay, Oregon. Haulout and repairs will be geographically restricted to a shipyard within 225 nautical miles of the boats homeport moorings. Performance is expected to start on 04 August through 29 August 2003 for MLB 52315 and to start on 08 September through 03 October 2003 for MLB 52312. The repairs anticipated involves the following work items; Production Control, Gantt chart; Gas Free Certification, Sea Trials, Fuel Tank Clean and Inspect, Potable Water Tank Inspect and Clean, Installation of Nutserts, Renew Sea Chest Boxes, Engine Removal and reinstallation, Electric Meter Calibration, Sea Valve Test/Overhaul/Renewal, window and wiper system renewal, underwater body preservation (100%), Bilges (machinery space) Preserve, Potable Water Tank Preservation, Weather Deck Preservation, Zinc anode Renewal, Temporary Services, Drydock Provide and Haulout and Underwater Body Work.
