The Naval Sea Systems Command originally solicited for sources for Inactive Ship Maintenance for Bremerton, WA on 20 November 2001. This is to advise that a draft RFP for Inactive Ship Maintenance at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Office, Bremerton WA, will be posted on or about 20 March 2002 to NECO (Navy Electronic Commerce Online) (www.neco.navy.mil). The draft RFP is issued so that potential offerors may ask questions, provide comments, and begin to plan their proposal responses prior to the release of the official RFP. The official RFP will have a proposal response time of 45 days from the time of its issuance. The official RFP will be a 100% small business set-aside. Offerors are requested to submit their comments on the draft RFP by 31 March 2002. NAVSEA also plans to issue a draft RFP for Inactive Ship Maintenance at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Office, Pearl Harbor HI, on or about 1 April 2002, with comments due back about 10 days thereafter. The official RFP for Pearl Harbor will be a 100% small business set-aside, and is planned to be issued on or about 15 April 2002.
